The Villager
The Voice of the Highland Creek Community since 1976
In June 1976, the first issue of The Villager, a community newsletter, was born under the auspices of the East Highland Creek Community Association, and soon thereafter the West Highland Creek Community joined in as co-publisher. The Villager has continued uninterrupted since that date, serving as a medium for listing community events and activities, and providing information to and from residents of Highland Creek concerning any matters affecting the well-being of the area.
The Villager is produced by volunteers 5 times a year. We provide Highland Creek-related subjects, events, groups, local business, student writers, puzzles, nature photos, human interest stories, wonderful neighbourhood stories, recipes, jokes and poetry.
We love to hear from our community.
