Growing native plants from seed is a cheap and easy way to add plants to your garden – but you need to start early! Join a Toronto Master Gardener to learn everything you need to know about how to get started. Many native plants require several months of cold temperatures in order to sprout in the spring. Join this session to learn where to get your seed and how to sow it over the winter for germination in the spring. Native seeds used in this demonstration will be given away at the end of this program, while supplies last.
