DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 2nd annual festival showcasing the best talent coming from Scarborough! \n\n\n\n\nPicture this: you’re sitting on a blanket hillside\, mocktail in hand\, sunset in the distance\, music from the Scarborough artists\, catching up with old friends. This could be you! \nMorningside Festival is a celebration of everything that makes Scarborough special. This year we have doubled in size from 3 to 6 artists. We’ve got singer-songwriters\, folk\, r&b\, city pop\, and alternative. A little bit of something for everyone! \nThis event is PWYC\, so it is technically free to attend\, however attendees who are able to donate will have access to complimentary food\, drinks\, mocktails\, and snacks. And also if you donate\, 100% of the ticket sales go directly to the artists\, so not only are you going to have a great time\, you will also be directly supporting local talent! \nTo end the night\, we will be ending with a jam session! So whether you are musically talented or just want to hit a tambourine\, all are welcome to jam out with the artists. We will have some percussion instruments however we recommend bringing your own instruments! \nWe hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:The Sunday Summer Concert Series is back at the Port Union Community Centre this summer with the same popular bands that were featured last year. All three concerts are organized and funded by volunteers from CCRA\, West Rouge Sports and Rec Association\, and West Rouge Community Association. Fossil Fire will perform on July 5\, Swing Junkies on July 12 and Port United will take the stage on July 19. Bring your chairs and blankets! If it rains\, the concerts will be moved inside. Light refreshments will be served at a nominal fee.
