Last year\, community events diverted over 75\,000 kilograms of electronics\, 265\,000 kilograms of household hazardous waste\, and almost 75\,000 kilograms of reusable household goods from landfills.You can find the full list of what you can and cannot bring online.

SUMMARY:Spring Clean Up Day
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year when our village community gathers together to help clean up our shared spaces. Last year a record number of volunteers showed up despite rainy conditions. Much litter was collected from pathways\, parks\, and the village area. The litter is bagged and then taken away by The City of Toronto. We hope for another record turn out of volunteers; please help by showing up at the Wesleyan Cemetery for 9am on April 20th. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided.
